Who am I?

It’s hard for me to argue the strange reason why you can be interested in me, yet I hope that the information that you’ll find here may be helpful.
I’m Luigi Palopoli and I was born in Cosenza on November 2nd 1969. In Italy my birthday is devoted to the dead relatives, yet I try to live as best as I can every single instant of my life.

I am not willing to share many more details on my life.

Suffice it to say that I’m a Computer Engineer, specialized in Control Systems. I love my work to the extent where it doesn’t conflict with my personal quest for harmony with human beings and environment. I got graduate on December 12th 1998 at the faculty of engineering, University of Pisa, Italy. Then I started my PhD program at the ReTiS Lab, and I succesfully completed it in a very hot day of summer 2002. I am happily married and have a lovely child. I love politics (when it’s meant as a noble activity), people, nature, sport and eastern religions (above all Buddhism). Buddhism is the very cornerstone of my life. For this reason, let me greet you with some words of wisdom from my Master, Daisaku Ikeda, leader of a wonderful non profit organization known as Soka Gakkai International.

  • “If your life is weak, it’ll be affected by external circumstances, if your life is strong circumstances change”.
  • “The course of our lives is determined by how we react-what we decide and what we do-at the darkest of times.
The nature of that response determines a person’s true worth and greatness”

If you really love artworks and beauty in general, please consider visiting this website, belonging to Luca Casapieri one of my dearest friends and a most precious electronic painter. Believe me it’s incredibly cool stuff!!!!!

You can find more about my thoughts on life, politics and religion in my facebook page (query for Luigi Palopoli (Trento) and then ask for friendship).
